The HUB Cafe is a family friendly cafe to meet with friends, chill out & recharge over excellent coffee, great quality food and groceries. Located in Northcote Melbourne, the project aim was to design a cafe that was flexible, chilled and local.
The main interior focal point is the retail counter which has a vintage feel in-keeping with the old warehouse and food store shelving. Using a simple blue dido-line and clever use of colour our designer was able to create non fussy focal points. Polished concrete, mid century styled furniture and artwork are juxtaposed by contemporary branding and graphics on the exterior of the cafe. This little local hangout looks very much the local and is a popular spot to hang, chill and eat.
