“We assigned this project to Stylesmiths Andrew because he shared a similar design esthetic to our client, and I new he shared a love for art and was brave in his collaborative approach to design.”creative director Richard Misso
Where: Melbourne’s inner north eastern suburbs
Who: A creative family
What: Well appointed family residence, vast refined and relaxed living spaces set over two levels
Our job was to add the finishing touches and unify the spaces through the specification of furniture, lighting and accessories to make the house feel more complete whist selecting interior materials to complement the existing architecture and clients’ practical and aesthetic requirements.
The Stylesmiths got to work by creating design concepts that covered the overarching interior design direction, including mood images, colour palate, suggested materials and possible furniture, lighting and accessories – 7 hours of design time.
Once our clients confirmed we were on the right track we researched final furniture, artwork, lighting, floor and wall coverings in some cases working with the existing colour palette of warm caramel, indigo, copper, brass and bronze – 10 hours of design time.
