Bondi Sydney
Where: Sydney’s eastern suburbs
Who: A young creative couple and their small child.
What: Free standing 1940’s family home in need of more than just a little love.
The Stylesmiths at work:
The project left only 2 rooms at the front; the rest of the home was rebuilt with a second storey addition to accommodate a family of 4.
There was a strict budget in place with a brief to be very functional yet look good. In keeping with a beachside feel, everything was kept light and bright on the interior with a bold exterior, navy contrasted crisply with white trims. The neutral palette of concrete floors and blonde timbers could then lend itself to pops of colour through artwork and furniture. Subtle features throughout included a hand made ceramic tiles to the kitchen splash back and feature pendant lighting to the kitchen and Master Bedroom.
The Stylesmiths captured the essence of laidback beachside chic. Before and After shots of the house are below!
